Captain Dan Dixon vs. the Moth Sluts from the 5th DimensionThis Friday is the opening show of “Captain Dan Dixon vs. the Moth Sluts from the 5th Dimension“!  I play Vickibelle, princess of the Vulvulans.

I haven’t been this excited for a show in a while.  It’s definitely one that you don’t want to miss.  We have 2 shows on a week – one on Friday and another on Saturday.  Both at 8:30 PM.

Hope to see you there!

AttackOfTheRottingCorpses2013_Postcard4EmailWant to have fun on Friday?  Then come watch me zombie it up at Zombie Joe’s Underground!  I never imagined myself being in a zombie show because I am a big scaredy cat (you should watch me playing “Silent Hill” and “The Last of Us”).  This show has definitely pulled me out of my comfort zone.  So much fun with a great director and cast.  You don’t want to miss it.

Tortoise and Hare - Shiloh the Snowflake

This past Sunday’s 2 performances were dedicated to all of those affected by what happened in Connecticut, especially the children.  We thank everyone who came to watch and to support us – we were a huge success!  Only two chances left to watch the show – this coming Sunday, December 23, at 1 PM and 3 PM!  You won’t regret it.  Do it for the kids!

For more information and tickets, go to our website.

LIFE - Solo Performances

This past Saturday was the premiere of the new snippets of my solo performance, “Daze of My Life”.  It was a huge success – we got a standing ovation!  And so many people (most, if not all, strangers!) came up to me during the intermission and after the whole show.  I always appreciate it when people I do not know have the need to tell me about how much they enjoyed my performance.  It speaks volumes to me.  Thank you to everyone who came.  And thank you to SAIPRO and Debra De Liso for the amazing experience.  If you are interested in starting your own solo performance, I highly suggest going through them.

My goal is to tour my solo performance at universities, high schools, organizations, festivals, events, and more.  If anyone is interested in learning more about my piece and having me perform it, please contact me!

Tortoise and Hare

“Heldine [Aguiluz] does an impressive ballet and innocence in her portrayal of the Snowflake as well as her Sheila Sheep. Heldine was spot on character and has an amazing voice too” (from this review).  You can read a few more reviews here, here, and here/here (the last two are the same review on two different websites).

If you still have not seen it, we only have 2 shows left – 1 PM and 3 PM on Sunday, December 23!  For tickets and more details, visit http://www.limecat.org.  Hope to see you there!

Life: An Evening of Solo Performances

This Saturday, I am bringing my solo performance back to the stage.  I will be performing the new snippets of “Daze of My Life”.  Whether or not you have seen my previous performances, I think you will enjoy my piece, along with the pieces of my classmates.  The show is brought to you by SAIPRO.  Check out the Facebook event for more details.  Hope to see you there!

Tortoise and Hare

Last Sunday was the opening day of the holiday musical “The Tortoise and the Hare Make a Holiday Wish“.  Both performances went well with excited and engaged audience members of all ages.  I enjoy my roles as Sheila the Sheep and Shiloh the Snowflake and cannot wait for the upcoming performances.  You can read our first review here.  If you are interested in coming to our future shows, you can buy tickets online here.  Bring your family and friends.  It is a great way to get into the holidays for “kids from 1 to 92”!  Hope to see you there!

Just finished reading #CrazyRichAsians. Looking forward to the movie! I couldn't wait on the long hold for the 2nd book in the series, so I just got it on @audible_com. Good thing there's a #PrimeDay discount right now! 😁 #HeldineReads
I got depressed on our way to the glacier because I started feeling unsupported and lonely (in a car with my boyfriend and his parents). When we stepped foot on the glacier, that all started to melt away. I felt like a kid stomping around in my crampons and crawling around in ice caves. We cowboy-walked down slopes and duck-walked up them. I was reminded of the beauty of life and living in the present moment, as well as the fact that everything is changing and fleeting. . I enjoy walking around trees and visiting beaches, but I think glaciers are my favorite and will be gone the soonest. If you haven't visited one, do it as soon as possible. And make sure you have a guide. There were people all over this glacier without guides doing things they didn't know are dangerous. Warren from @micaguides was great, especially because we were the first tour group to explore this cave with him. 👍🏽👍🏽 ・・・ Day 65 of my #108DPyoga // In case you missed it, I'm doing yoga for #The100DayProject. Because 108 is a sacred number in yoga tradition, I chose to change it to 108 days. 😊 You can find out more about my project in my highlights. . #HeldineYoga #YASummerChallenge #HeldineTravels

Amazing mountain and river views from our cabin the other day. 🌲🗻 #HeldineTravels #LaatschFam💝 #Alaska
12:16 AM - The clouds cleared, and I got to see Mt. Foraker (17,400 ft.), Mt. Hunter (14,573 ft.), and Denali (20,310 ft.) before heading off to bed. This is what it looks like after the sunset. 😵 Now it's time to get some sleep before our glacier adventure tomorrow. Night! 🛌 #HeldineTravels #NoFilter
It's #NationalNudeDay! It's too cold to go nude here in Alaska, so here's a reject 2018 New Year's Nude. . I don't even remember why I didn't pick this one as my NYN for the year. I think because it felt like too much then? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Well, today it feels just right. Plus, the whole point of my starting NYN was to see the change in my body and my love for it. ・・・ Day 64 of my #108DPyoga // In case you missed it, I'm doing yoga for #The100DayProject. I didn't want to go all the way to the top of the Mt. Healy Trail. I was feeling tired from how far we'd already gone, and the view was nice enough. . Brandon's dad kept trying to make it a competition. "Do you want to let those people beat us to the top?" Etc., etc. That probably would have worked on me before. But today, I could care less what other people, especially strangers, do. I used to be competitive - and can still be. So it was nice to see the change in me. . The goal of my life isn't to be better than anyone else. It's to live my life to the fullest and in whatever way makes me the happiest. I remembered @najwazebian's quote "These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb" and saw this trail as a metaphor for life. I didn't want to give up so close to the top. It's okay to rest and go at my own pace. . I'm happy I endured and made it to the top, flying like a crow - or, as I prefer, a hummingbird. 😘🕊 ・・・ Day 63of my #108DPyoga // In case you missed it, I'm doing yoga for #The100DayProject.
