I’ve been busy working on a lot of different things, so I thought that I would take the time to share with you what I have been up to.

– ADR for “Ripe” – I have the fun opportunity to play “Abby” AND play “Abby’s mom” (i.e. do her voice).
– Touring with hereandnow – This weekend, I am heading out to the University of Missouri. Next weekend, I am going to Iowa. Both new places for me, so I am excited because I love touring and traveling!
– Thinking up ideas for Nerdesses, WordKnurds, and a feature-length film
– Applying for different theatre festivals to send my solo performance, “Daze of My Life”
– Working on a video reel
– Dabbling in the production side of things – Right now, I am helping to produce some of the FreddieW videos. It is a lot of fun, and I like learning new things.

Sister Cities

I am producing a show for the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival (as well as playing the role of the youngest sister Baltimore). It is called Sister Cities. We are planning all sorts of events to raise money to make the production possible.

If you are in LA, you should stop by our Bar/Karaoke Night this coming Thursday! Our Facebook event has all of the details. You will get a chance to meet the director and cast and have fun singing, dancing, drinking, and talking with us!

We also just started an IndieGoGo, where you can pre-order tickets to our shows, as well as donate money to help us make it the best production possible.

I know that times are tough. So if you do not have the chance to donate to us, please consider re-blogging this post and spreading the word wherever you can (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, word of mouth, etc.). We have a great script in our hands and a talented cast that wants the chance to make this story come to life. We know that our audiences will not be disappointed. 🙂

Just finished reading #CrazyRichAsians. Looking forward to the movie! I couldn't wait on the long hold for the 2nd book in the series, so I just got it on @audible_com. Good thing there's a #PrimeDay discount right now! 😁 #HeldineReads
I got depressed on our way to the glacier because I started feeling unsupported and lonely (in a car with my boyfriend and his parents). When we stepped foot on the glacier, that all started to melt away. I felt like a kid stomping around in my crampons and crawling around in ice caves. We cowboy-walked down slopes and duck-walked up them. I was reminded of the beauty of life and living in the present moment, as well as the fact that everything is changing and fleeting. . I enjoy walking around trees and visiting beaches, but I think glaciers are my favorite and will be gone the soonest. If you haven't visited one, do it as soon as possible. And make sure you have a guide. There were people all over this glacier without guides doing things they didn't know are dangerous. Warren from @micaguides was great, especially because we were the first tour group to explore this cave with him. 👍🏽👍🏽 ・・・ Day 65 of my #108DPyoga // In case you missed it, I'm doing yoga for #The100DayProject. Because 108 is a sacred number in yoga tradition, I chose to change it to 108 days. 😊 You can find out more about my project in my highlights. . #HeldineYoga #YASummerChallenge #HeldineTravels

Amazing mountain and river views from our cabin the other day. 🌲🗻 #HeldineTravels #LaatschFam💝 #Alaska
12:16 AM - The clouds cleared, and I got to see Mt. Foraker (17,400 ft.), Mt. Hunter (14,573 ft.), and Denali (20,310 ft.) before heading off to bed. This is what it looks like after the sunset. 😵 Now it's time to get some sleep before our glacier adventure tomorrow. Night! 🛌 #HeldineTravels #NoFilter
It's #NationalNudeDay! It's too cold to go nude here in Alaska, so here's a reject 2018 New Year's Nude. . I don't even remember why I didn't pick this one as my NYN for the year. I think because it felt like too much then? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Well, today it feels just right. Plus, the whole point of my starting NYN was to see the change in my body and my love for it. ・・・ Day 64 of my #108DPyoga // In case you missed it, I'm doing yoga for #The100DayProject. I didn't want to go all the way to the top of the Mt. Healy Trail. I was feeling tired from how far we'd already gone, and the view was nice enough. . Brandon's dad kept trying to make it a competition. "Do you want to let those people beat us to the top?" Etc., etc. That probably would have worked on me before. But today, I could care less what other people, especially strangers, do. I used to be competitive - and can still be. So it was nice to see the change in me. . The goal of my life isn't to be better than anyone else. It's to live my life to the fullest and in whatever way makes me the happiest. I remembered @najwazebian's quote "These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb" and saw this trail as a metaphor for life. I didn't want to give up so close to the top. It's okay to rest and go at my own pace. . I'm happy I endured and made it to the top, flying like a crow - or, as I prefer, a hummingbird. 😘🕊 ・・・ Day 63of my #108DPyoga // In case you missed it, I'm doing yoga for #The100DayProject.
